This spectacular lantern festival features photo opportunities at every turn, an expanded interactive playground, East-West fusion cuisine, Asian folk-culture celebrations, and professional stage performances. Barktoberfest Walk Run Wag (Saturday 9/13, 11:30 AM - 4 PM) (Estabrook Park, 4400 N. Estabrook Dr., Shorewood) KID FRIENDLY MADACC combines their fundraising 5K with their biggest event of the year! Features separate start times for runners without dogs (11:30 AM), runners with dogs, then walkers on the 2-mile route. Post-race celebration includes pet-friendly vendors, adoptable dogs, and activities for both 2- and 4-legged family members. It's Gemütlichkeit for dogs! Oktoberfest at Explorium Greendale (Saturday 9/13, 11 AM - 10 PM) (The Explorium Brewpub, 5300 S. 76th Street, Greendale) Celebrate Bavarian style on the Greendale patio with cold beer, delicious food specials, and live music. Schedule includes firkin tapping at 3 PM, stein hoist competition at 3:30 PM, and live music with Tally Ho Brass at 5 PM. Milwaukee Fire Department's 150th Anniversary Celebration (Saturday 9/13, 12-4 PM) (Henry Maier Festival Park, 200 N.
