Milwaukee Irish Fest (Thursday 8/14 - Sunday 8/17) (Henry Maier Festival Park, 200 N Harbor Dr, Milwaukee) KID FRIENDLY The world's largest Irish music festival returns with over 100 acts across 18 stages of music, dance, and entertainment. MOWA Art & Chalk Fest (Friday 8/16 & Saturday 8/17, 10am-5pm) (Museum of Wisconsin Art, 205 Veterans Ave, West Bend) KID FRIENDLY This free, two-day festival brings together artists from across Wisconsin for a weekend of live art and hands-on creativity. Chalk artists transform 10×10-foot squares of pavement into large-scale compositions, evolving from early outlines into finished pieces you can watch come to life. Wicked (LAST CHANCE!) (July 30 - August 17, Various Times) (Uihlein Hall, Marcus Center, 929 N. Water St, Milwaukee) KID FRIENDLY This Broadway sensation looks at what happened in the Land of Oz before Dorothy arrived. The tour runs through August 17, 2025, making this the final weekend to catch this wildly inventive story about the untold friendship between Elphaba (the future Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda.
